Mike Castillo, Castillo & Associates, Chair, Texas Association of HUBs


Mike Castillo is the President and owner of Castillo & Associates, an Information Technology consultancy based in Humble, Texas. Castillo & Associates was founded in 1998 and has been a certified HUB with the State of Texas since 1999. Castillo & Associates is also certified by the City of Houston and Houston Minority Business Council as a minority-owned business enterprise and as an 8(a) firm with the U.S. Small Business Administration. Prior to starting Castillo & Associates, Mike worked for ExxonMobil as a telecom engineer and project manager. He has over 15 years experience in IT consulting and project management. Mike is a native Texan and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston. Roy Mata, Texas Government Solutions, President, Texas Association of HUBs


Roy Mata is the President  and CEO of Texas Government Solutions.   Roy served as Director of Operations for Transactive Corporation, the National Electronic Benefit Transfer Data/Service Center for the USDA Welfare EBT programs for the states of Texas and Illinois. Roy has also served as the IRM, senior staff member and was appointed as an Assistant Commissioner by Rick Perry for the Texas Department of Agriculture. He also served as a Director in Information Technology for Garry Mauro for the Texas General Land Office. Prior to working in Austin, Roy worked as an Assistant VP of Operations for Information Technology for Gill Savings in San Antonio. Roy attended the University of Texas at SA, majoring in Computer Information Systems and Accounting. Laura Bley, Bley Investment Group, Inc., NorthTexas Director, Texas Association of HUBs


Laura Bley is a 28-year veteran of the securities industry. A chartered financial analyst, Laura is a member of the CFA Institute, the Dallas Society of Financial Analysts (DSFA), and the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP).She is currently a member of the FINRA?s panel of arbitrators. Laura is a Fellow with the Society of Institutional and Pension Professionals, a member of the National Women in Pensions and a member of Texas Wall Street Women. Ms. Bley has also served on the membership and local firms committees of the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and is a former director of Regional Investment Brokers.Ms. Bley established Bley Investment Group, Inc. after serving as president of Capital Fund Managers, Inc., a registered investment advisor and money management firm in Fort Worth, Texas. Earlier, Ms. Bley was associated with Dean Witter Reynolds, Beverly Hills, CA. In addition to holding series #7 and #63 licenses, Ms. Bley is a registered general securities principal (series #24), a financial operations principal (series #27), a registered options principal (series #4) and a municipal securities principal (series #53). She also holds insurance licenses. Leon Holland, MMC Group, L.P, Central Texas Director, Texas Association of HUBs


Leon Holland is the Central Texas Regional Director for the Texas Association of Historically Underutilized Businesses. Mr. Holland serves as the HUB and Small Business Coordinator for MMC Group, L.P., a Texas employee-owned HUB company dedicated to serving the professional and technical needs of corporate and governmental entities. Prior to joining MMC Group, Holland was a Deputy Commissioner, Administrative Services and Project Manager at two state Health and Human Service agencies. Before relocating to Texas from Maryland, Holland served over thirty years in the U. S. Army Medical Department in various medical logistics, administration, and command positions. Colonel Holland retired from active duty in 1991. A native of San Antonio, he received his B.S. degree from The University of Texas at Austin and his MBA degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio. Holland has also completed post graduate work in Hospital Administration at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California. Kristen Cox, Checkpoint Services, Inc., West Texas Direcor, Texas Association of HUBs


Kristen Cox is President of Checkpoint Services, Inc., which she founded in 1996.  A graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in Computer Science/Math, Kristen worked for Shell Oil before starting her own technology company.  Kristen and her husband, David, a software engineer, live in El Paso with their three children.  She has been involved in many community activities including the Board of  Directors for the Greater El Paso Chamber  of Commerce, the Founder of Buy El Paso, Technology Advisor to Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors El Paso Alzheimer's Association and many other community and civic memberships.  Kristen serves on the Board of Texas Association of HUBs as Director, West Texas.

Leezet Llorance is the owner of Llorance IT Consulting, a Houston based woman owned consulting business since 2004; offering 20+ yrs experience in Data Analysis & Design, MS Database Development, Functional  and IT business analysis, Project Leadership and Training Rollout to functional and technical users.  Leezet Llorance is a Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), a Certified Business Professinal (CBP): Project Management, and a certified Microsoft Master Instructor (MMI).  Her business, Llorance IT Consulting, is a certified Women Owned Business by the Women's Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA), a certified Historically Underutlized Business (HUB) by the Texas Building & Procurement Commission (TBPC), and a certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) by the City of Houston: Affirmative Action and Contract Compliance. Leezet serves on the Board of Texas Association of HUBs as Director, East Texas.
