TAH has two levels of membership. Full membership in TAH is open to all firms having an active Texas State Building and Procurement Commission (TBPC) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) certification. Associate membership is open to all other companies that do not meet the qualification of a HUB as designated by the TBPC.
- Is a collective voice on legislation, policies and practices affecting HUB utilization.Provides networking opportunities among HUBs and prime contractors.
- Provides point of reference for subcontracting opportunities.
- Serves as an advocate for all HUBs in Texas.
- Provides searchable database to filter both primes and subcontractors for potential procurement opportunities as well as mentor/protégé relationships.
- Provides communications vehicle between HUBs and state agencies.
- Demonstrates the value of doing businesses with HUBs.
